Political Background



Chairman of The Bangladesh Today, Jobaer Alam with Awami League office secretary Dr. Abdus Sobhan Golap holding up nomination Form of Dhaka North Mayoral Election.

Dr. Jobaer Alam is currently an Executive Member of Awami League sub-committee on education and human resources, he is also the Joint Convenor of Nil Dal of Faculty of Earth and Environmental Sciences (Awami League Backed Teachers Association).

He is also a member of Bangladesh Awami League, Nilphamri District unit, Nilphamri. Dr. Jobaer was a member of the central executive committee of Bangladesh Awami Secchasebak League and he was also an executive member of Bangladesh Chattra League (FH Hall Branch) when he was a student in Dhaka university.

With a long standing familial and personal popularity and involvement in politics he asked for the Mayoral nomination of Dhaka North City Corporation in 2018.

Jobaer Alam has future plans to participate in upcoming national election from his constitution Nilphamari -3.
